What Lord God Will Do

“Lord God” is one who will help his people in every circumstance until he finds what he was looking for. When the Hebrews were on domain of the Egyptians God sent many things to make the pharaoh let his people go. He tells Moses to tell the pharaoh what will happen if he doesn’t let the Jewish people go. After every obstacle left by “Lord God” the pharaoh seemed to let go but then he wouldn’t. The bible shows us, “Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you. Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and in treat the LORD your God, that he may take away from me this death only.”(Exodus 10, 16-17)Then he would regret his decision, “But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go.”(Exodus 10,18) As any other father, as god is with his people, he goes to the extreme to let his people be free and happy. Any father will protect his son so he will be happy and be free. “And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.”(Exodus 11, 5) This shows that God will even kill to save the Hebrews. As a good father he is. Or is it that he is just looking to kill the Egyptians firstborn to punish them and for vengeance? Are “Lord Gods” intentions always for good?
