A Helper

Lord God is a very powerful and dominant living thing. He tells Abram what to do and also makes him do things for himself. “And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.” (Genesis 12, 7) This shows how Lord God makes Abram do something, but he returns a favor, in this case giving him land. This can demonstrate how sometime we tend to rely of having a reward to do something’s, I can even say we do that for everything. All the things we do are to give us an advantage.

I can also say that sometimes we rely in their things to do our job. Abram pleads for not a fight to begin between him and his brother, not thinking he can solve that problem by himself. “And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren.” (Genesis 13, 8) This makes us think, should we learn to solve our own problems? Do we need outside help? Lord God gives these men a problem solver that is himself making them dependent in that Lord God.
